Lagrange Police Officer Arrested for Boating Under the Influence by DNR

Verified and reliable source(s) has provided that Lagrange Police officer Meghan Keith was arrested by Department of Natural Resources Division (DNR). Source(s) provides that her blood alcohol content (BWC) was alleged to be .11 and was booked into the Troup County Jail on May 24, 2025. Keith was later released on a $1,500.00 bond reported by Troup County Sheriff’s Office (TCSO).

Source information has been provided that an internal investigation will begin on or around Tuesday (May 27, 2025) into the matter. 

Keith was arrested and charged with O.C.G.A. 52-7-12 – Operation of watercraft while under the influence of alcohol, toxic vapors, or drugs; legal drug use not exempted; blood and other chemical tests; test refusal; owner's liability for allowing another to operate while intoxicated; civil and criminal actions; child endangerment; and

O.C.G.A. 52-7-20 - Operation of vessels in vicinity of regulatory markers and aids to navigation; tampering with regulatory markers and aids to navigation.

It appears that Lagrange Police Officers still know how to party hard.
