Lawsuit Filed Against Grantville Committee Member for Slander Against a Journalist
A lawsuit has been filed against Taylor Phillips for knowingly stating that Russell is a pedophile.
On March 25, 2024, Taylor Phillips stood outside of the Grantville City Hall just after being appointed to the Parks & Recreation Advisory Board. As of November 22, 2024, Taylors name is still listed on the city of Grantville’s website.
Taylor stood in front of city hall and made the statement to Russell that he is a pedophile. Taylor displayed to have prior knowledge that her statement was truthful. However, no charges could be located, or Russell is not on any sex offender registry in the United States.
Multiple attempts for Taylor to retract such statement were provided with no success. Taylor and her spouse Charles took the notices as a form of harassment and applied for warrants against Russell.
On November 22, 2024, Russell filed a lawsuit (SUV2024001394) against Taylor, alleging Slander and False Light.
