No Blacks Allowed to Serve Christmas Dinner

Council Woman Dee Berry, who is the sole African American council member of a city that has no African American department heads. The city also has hired a city manager that participated in the past for suppression of the black vote according to the Department of Justice.

In a Facebook post by the Grantville Police Department, they are in conjunction with the mayor and all city council members, except Dee Berry. Dee Berry is also the chairman of the Grantville Police Committee where she has never been authorized to hold a Committee Meeting.

A certain elected official serving the citizens of Grantville has associated with a self-proclaimed white supremacist named Chief Tuttle in the past. They shared a social media platform during a livestream broadcast. No knowledge of any apology has been provided to the community.

The elected official also appeared to associate himself with a known convicted felon as well as pending future active felony charges.

GT reached out to Council Woman Dee Berry, and she commented that she never received any invite to participate in the Christmas event. The same council woman that is the chairmen of the Grantville Police Committee.

Dee Berry has been told to be quiet in a previous council meeting for trying to talk and address concerns.

It states in the Grantville City Charter Sec. 2-173.-Standards of Conduct (k) “No city official or employee shall grant or make available to any person any consideration, treatment, advantage or favor beyond that which it is the general practice to grant or make available to the public at large.”
