The incompetence at The Cleburne County Department of Human Resources

GT was trespassed from the Department of Human Resources in Heflin, Alabama. Simply existing in public space could land you behind bars.

The incompetence at The Cleburne County Department of Human Resources

Georgia Transparency (GT) visited the Cleburne County Department of Human Resources in Heflin, Alabama. Kay Allen the financial officer according to her Facebook page began yelling and trying to have GT prosecuted for recording.

Statements Kay Allen said could be landing the department and possibly herself in a federal court if it is not addressed. Statements such as she would do anything to keep him “GT’ off the property. Other statements such as, so they can get you (GT).

SGT Nail (Nail) with the Heflin Police Department spoke with both Kay, Kelisha, and GT. It appeared that Nail conducted no investigation and simply stated that it is the government’s right to have GT removed because Kay wanted to. Popular case law of Smith V. Cumming (2000) shows that anyone may record public officials and police in the performance of their official duties.

Nail proceeded to enforce that if GT didn’t leave the premises he would be arrested.

It appears that GT may have stumbled upon something else as well. From the window looking into a room with the door wide open, was an infant lying on the floor. The room appeared to be filthy and cluttered with objects. It is unknown who the person was in the room such infant(s).

This is how the tax dollars appear to be spent here in Cleburne County. Everyone has a right to report about their government for the best interest of the public.
