Did Grantville Committee Board Member Submit Questionable Documents
It was found that Parks & Recreation Board Member Taylor Phillips has questionable documents submitted to the city and the state.
On February 15, 2024, Taylor Phillips applied for and was appointed to the Parks & Recreation Board. In her application she listed “owner” of local restaurant Red’s Grub Shack.
One month prior on January 05, 2024, Department of Human Services filed with the Coweta County Superior Court a Child Support Worksheet. Where Taylor listed her monthly gross and adjusted income reporting of $1,261.50. Is Red’s Grub Shack Gross Monthly Income only $2,523.00? As Taylor claims she is “owner” of the establishment as listed in the application to be a board member.
As the order filed on January 05, 2024, to reduce payments from $406.00 per month to $264.00 per month. What is the actual amount of Gross Monthly Income Taylor is receiving? Does this raise questions about the truthfulness of both documents?
A recent records request was returned for a utility payment in September 2024 for Red’s Grub Shack in the amount of $1,329.63. If over 50% of income is used for utilities, then how does rent, insurance, cost of employees, and operating expenses fitting into a narrow budget?
On November 01, 2024, a lawsuit was filed against Mrs. Phillip's spouse (Charles "Red" Phillips) alleging RICO violations and defamation per se. That article can be found here. Grantville Business Facing a Civil Racketeering Lawsuit
As of the date of this publication, Taylor Phillips can be found on the City of Grantville website as a current committee member.
