A council woman’s statement to a local newspaper may support the tyrannical actions of the mayor.

Grantville will be hosting a town hall meeting on December 7, 2024, from 2pm to 3pm at the Passenger Depot downtown.
In an article released by the local newspaper, Councilwoman Casey Evans reported that she wanted a setting where people can speak more freely. It is also reported that the mayor will not be attending this meeting.
Did Councilwoman Casey Evans indirectly whistle blow to local media to encourage more people to attend because the mayor will not be present. Will this be an opportunity for the people to speak more freely to their city council?
City Council David Clark commented to the local media that the town hall is considered a meeting.
Hopefully at the town hall meeting, people can freely voice their concerns without the fear of the mayor telling them to be quiet or other forms of retaliation. What better place for anyone to speak freely than a city hall.
